FAQ'S

Q: What type of events do you primarily host?

A: Twin Oaks is an invitation only gathering experience which primarily hosts social gatherings, corporate events, retreats and weddings.

Q: Do you host weddings?

A: Yes we do! Golden Hour and venues operate based on the principles that marriage is created by God intentionally between one man and one woman. Weddings hosted through Golden Hour venues exist to help couples begin this commitment with intention to pour into the next generation of Godly families.

Q: What is the layout of the event space?

A: The event space is currently outdoors only in front of the Twin Oaks main house. A large side lawn and front lawn is provided for ample seating and gathering space. The grounds include 2 restrooms for public use. As of Spring 2026, The Carriage House will be provided as an additional gathering space.

Q: What if rain is predicted in the forecast?

A: If rain is predicted in the forecast, you will need to rent tents to be placed in the side lawn for your event. If carriage house is available the day of your event, this could be an alternative rain option.

Q: Do you have in-house coordinators and catering or do we use our own?

A: We do not provide any in-house coordinators/planners or vendors at this time. We do require all coordinators/planners and vendors to be licensed and insured. Golden Hour and Twin Oaks reserves the right to deny access to any vendor or company that is not currently in good standing with the property. Our property does not have a commercial kitchen so all food must be prepared off site and brought to your event.

Q: What is included within my investment?

A: The estate is rented as a "blank-slate canvas" allowing your creativity to thrive. It will be up to you and your event coordinator or planner to coordinate all needed rentals, decor, etc for your event. Golden Hour will provide on-site parking attendants, security, and Golden Hour host/hostess to ensure your event runs efficiently and smoothly.

Q: What is the max capacity for my event?

A: Twin Oaks is exclusive to small, intimate gatherings of 100 people or less.

Q: What is the payment schedule?

A: Due to demand, Twin Oaks asks that all potential clients be prepared to pay 100% of fee and sign a contract to hold the date for events. The fee will include your rental price, $1,000 refundable damage deposit, and $1,500 alcohol liability if applicable. This deposit is non-refundable so we do ask that you be certain of your investment prior to payment. If no damages occur during your event, your deposit will be refunded via business check.

Q: Do I have to provide event insurance?

A: Yes, event insurance is required for any event to be held on property. The policy needs to be $1,000,000 worth of general liability and names Twin Oaks and Golden Hour as an additional insured.

Q: Are there restrictions on event timing or noise restrictions?

A: Twin Oaks does have a strict policy regarding your rental time window. The rental time window includes all setup, breakdown, and clean up. Due to residence surrounding Twin Oaks as well as county ordinances, it is required that all music conclude no later than 9pm. This allows all guests, vendors and cleaning crew to depart premises by 10pm.

Q: What are the parking arrangements?

A: Twin Oaks provides a parking lot near the entrance of the property and will require your guest to walk a short distance on our gravel driveway to your event. If your guests will need golf carts for the event, the coordinator will need to assist in renting the carts.
